We are a delivery company in Uganda. We need a skilled and capable operation supervisor to manage our delivery operation and operators. The ideal candidate will have some experiences of a series of company operation and administration including logistics, finance & accounting, human resource and general affairs, and be able to catch up quickly. In this role, you will have a responsibility of our delivery operation as an operator and a supervisor, and be responsible for reporting to operation manager.

l Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way

l Arrange Delivery operation among clients, operators, drivers, and agents

l Maintain the existing customer relationships to retain revenue and maximize their satisfaction

l Coordinate and manage delivery agent network across Uganda

l Assist recruitment and training of operators and drivers

l Handle incident and trouble shooting in daily delivery operation

l Handle daily petty cash management operations

l Proven experience in an operation including general affairs, accounting, HR and logistics.

l Demonstrative experiences to achieve

l Excellent understanding of data administration and management functions with proficient in MS Excel and google spreadsheet

l An analytical mindset with problem-solving skills (logical thinking approach)

l (preferable) Solid knowledge of Ugandan courier industry

l (preferable) Experience of staff supervision and evaluation

Salary range is 800,000sh – 1,200,000sh GROSS depending on skills and experiences.

Business Development Officer and Research

We are a delivery company in Uganda. We develop a variety of new delivery services/businesses utilizing IT technology. We need a skilled and experienced business development officer to develop and establish new businesses. The ideal candidate will have both experiences of market research of new business and sales in launching new businesses in lean startup including skills related to market analysis, field needs research, marketing as well as sales activity. In this role, you will be responsible for launching new businesses with other officers under business development manager.

 Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
 Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
 Clarify customer needs to revise business model
 Identifies service improvements or new services by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
 Sells services by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects
 Provide competitive analysis on various companies’ market offerings, identify market trends, pricing/business models, sales and methods of operation
 Liaise with the colleagues in business development, app development team, and marketing team as appropriate
 And, all related work to launch new services including delivery arrangement, customer communication.

 Proven working experience as a business development, sales officer or a relevant role
 Solid knowledge of market research analysis
 Think strategically – seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop the business
 Communication and negotiation skills
 Strong business sense and industry expertise
 Strong analytical and critical thinking

Salary range is 800,000sh – 1,800,000sh NET depending on skills and experiences.
