Reflecting on 2025: CourieMate’s Milestones and Plans for the Future

As 2025 draws to a close, we at CourieMate are proud to look back on a year of remarkable growth, innovation, and strengthened partnerships. This year has been defined by our mission to provide fast, reliable, and customer-focused last-mile delivery solutions across East Africa. At the same time, we are preparing for 2026 with ambitious plans to deepen our presence and continue setting new benchmarks in the logistics industry.

2025 Milestones

1. Unprecedented Growth in Operations

CourieMate successfully completed over 150,000 deliveries in 2025, supporting the growth of more than 130 e-commerce businesses. With 8 operational hubs across Uganda and Tanzania, our network has enabled faster and more secure delivery options for both businesses and end customers.

2. Expanding Our Client Base

This year saw a sharp increase in the number of businesses relying on CourieMate. From established e-commerce platforms to small and medium-sized enterprises, we became a trusted partner in solving last-mile delivery challenges and unlocking new opportunities for growth.

3. Strengthening Fulfillment Services

CourieMate’s fulfillment centers continued to play a critical role in optimizing logistics for our clients. Currently, we store and manage over 10,000 items across more than 500 product categories, ensuring businesses can scale quickly while benefiting from seamless inventory and order management.

4. Sustainability Efforts

We expanded the use of electric motorcycles in our fleet, a step toward greener mobility and reduced carbon emissions. This initiative reflects our commitment to sustainable logistics and our vision of delivering responsibly while supporting environmental goals in East Africa.

Plans for 2026

1. Expansion of Regional Network

While CourieMate does not plan to expand into new countries in 2026, we are preparing to grow our footprint within Uganda and Tanzania. By increasing the number of hubs from 8 to around 12 locations, we aim to expand our same-day delivery coverage and bring stable, efficient logistics services even closer to our customers.

2. Innovation and Technology

CourieMate will continue investing in technology-driven solutions that enhance precision and reliability. In 2026, our focus will be on:

• Advanced Parcel Tracking System to provide greater transparency and real-time visibility across the delivery chain.
• Second-Generation Cold Chain Solutions with Temperature Tracking, ensuring that sensitive products such as medicines remain safe and effective during transportation.
• User-Friendly Digital Platforms that empower both businesses and end customers with easy access to order status, delivery scheduling, and performance insights.

3. Strengthening Sectoral Partnerships

We will deepen our collaborations with key industries such as pharmaceuticals, retail, and FMCG distribution. By tailoring solutions to each sector’s unique needs, CourieMate will continue to support critical supply chains and ensure timely, reliable deliveries.
